Leadership Capacitor Day: Fueling The Future

Regional Leadership Training is a funded educational opportunity exclusive to Sweet Adelines International's Regional Leaders. Funding includes three meals and lodging from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening. As leaders of our organization, we encourage all in attendance to extend their stay into the future for IES 2017.

We are pleased to announce Marjorie Stealey, of Region #14, as the Regional Leadership Capacitor Day keynote speaker.

Marj frequently serves as faculty at regional events, has a PhD in education, and is a high school principal and a consultant with the state of Virginia’s Education Department.

The RLC will be discussing the specifics of the classes when they meet in March; please be sure to check back for more information!

IES 2017 is back, better than ever, with over 120 class offerings and an exceptional line up of famed faculty and special guests.

We understand that attendees are beginning IES at different stages along their musical journey, will progress at varying rates and have diverse interests – and love it! This is why classes are a la carte, allowing all attendees to choose their own curriculum and schedule.

Featuring “Pitch Perfect” arranger and producer, Deke Sharon; “authentic expression” guru and vocal expression coach extraordinaire, Tom Carter; Sweet Adelines faculty; a quartet track led by 2004 International Champion Quartet, “the BUZZ”; daily performances from the 2017 International Champion Quartet, Frenzy; and the Rising Star and Mixed Harmony quartet contests. Back to the future is the place to be!

We can’t wait to see how many Sweet Adelines members and non-members our Regional Leaders will bring back to the future. We will see you there!
