Logo Licensing Policy - NEW!

On behalf of the International Board of Directors, Sweet Adelines International’s logo licensing policy is revised and available (Nov. 2017).

Areas, Regions, choruses, and quartets may request a non-exclusive license to use the registered trademark commonly known as the “double treble clef,” the name Sweet Adelines International, and/or any of the Corporation’s official insignia on products created for internal use or fundraising use, provided requirements are followed in the logo licensing policy. These licenses are subject to the following requirements and limitations:

  • When a chapter, quartet, Region or Area desires to use the name “Sweet Adelines International” or one of the official insignia on an item, permission must be requested from the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications at International Headquarters.
  • In order to request permission, complete the logo licensing application.
  • Permission may be granted, provided that the item is not considered to be competitive with items sold by the International Sales Department, and provided the quality of the item reflects the desired image of the international organization. Additionally, the use of the name and official insignia must comply with Sweet Adelines graphics standards.
  • Under the new policy, there are two separate licensing categories: "internal use" and "fundraising use." All fees listed in USD.
