Sweet Adelines International is passionate about introducing young singers to the barbershop music art form through the Young Women In Harmony (YWIH) program. Designed for singers age 25 and younger, YWIH provides opportunities for students to explore the world of barbershop music through education, festivals, workshops, camps and competitions.

Music Educators

YWIH provides music educators complimentary resources to incorporate barbershop harmony in their school's choral repertoire. Barbershop singing is a rewarding accomplishment for a vocal ensemble, and the curriculum to get started is absolutely free! The Young Women In Harmony program is supported by international headquarters staff, Regional YWIH Coordinators and Chapter YWIH Representatives to foster the program in communities around the globe. Your planned a cappella festivals create confident singers, preserve the barbershop harmony art form, and keep chords ringing!
